Delphic Forge, Inc., founded in March 2019, is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our first project is the promotion of GRACCHUS, a new opera by David Hughes and Richard Munkelt. Set in the late Roman Republic, the work represents a fictionalization of the life of the historical figure Gaius Gracchus, Tribune of the Plebs. The opera is both lyric spectacle and religio-political allegory, a music drama in the grand style and “a total work of art” (Gesamtkunstwerk), involving music, poetry, dramatic action, philosophical reflection, and dance, all in scenographic context.

Your donation will make possible the promotion of this exciting new work.  The ultimate goal is the orchestration and full staging of GRACCHUS in 2023.
